RO Water Plants & Development Works in Parchur

Parchur faced recurring water quality problems, with many villages dependent on unsafe groundwater sources. Poor water quality contributed to health issues, particularly among children and elderly residents.

MP Tenneti Krishna Prasad responded by allocating ₹23 lakh from MPLADS for the installation of RO water plants at select locations and funding related local development works. These plants are being installed with sufficient capacity to cater to entire village populations, accompanied by maintenance contracts for long-term functionality.
