New Machilipatnam–Repalle–Bapatla Railway Line
The absence of a direct rail route between Repalle and Bapatla forced traders, students, and passengers to rely on long detours, limiting the efficiency of logistics and travel.
After multiple representations to the Ministry of Railways under Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, funding of ₹1.15 crore was sanctioned for the final location survey for a 45.81 km new rail line. This will form a critical link in the Machilipatnam–Repalle–Bapatla section.
